You can either keep walking briskly and not notice much or slow down and start paying attention to the natural world, whether it's down low or up above, close to you or further away.
I invite you to notice and appreciate nature on your way to work or school, on your dog walk or your shopping trip. Notice nature in your garden, your churchyard, through your window - down at your feet or up in the sky.
Become a beauty seeker for your own pleasure, for your own health. Become fascinated by what you see, hear, taste, smell and touch. Don't forget to share your treasures!
Seeking nature is a great motivator for moving a bit more as you walk to explore your surroundings and a bit differently, as you become aware of your verticality (watch the video below on Introduction de Natural Mindfulness), of what is far away in the distance and very close, right at your feet.
If you would like to be guided through a natural mindfulness walk, find my walking group on meetup or in nextdoor. I look forward to going on a walk with you soon!
Further reading: Instead of visiting natural and sometimes remote spaces, I invite you to tune in and connect with âeverydayâ nature close to home through simple activities. Notice how your physical and mental health improve. Feel free to share.
